Urban Child Study Center presents at NAEYC

bingham_naeyc npt_naeyc Research and partnerships activities within the Urban Child Study Center were highlighted at the annual conference for the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Faculty and graduate students presented on various projects.  Along with his colleagues Drs. Hope Gerde and Margaret Quinn, Dr. Gary Bingham presented findings from a study on Creating meaningful writing opportunities within daily routines and transitions.  Drs. Rihana Mason and Lakeisha Johnson organized and presented a symposium on Oral Language in Diverse Learners: Implications for Assessment & Instruction in Early Childhood Education.  Finally, along with our community partners, Dr. Nicole Patton Terry organized and convened a roundtable symposium on Cross-sector partnerships for preschool through 3rd grade in metro Atlanta.
