Title: Early Writing of Monolingual Spanish-Speaking and English-Speaking Preschoolers in Chile and the U.S.A.

Description: The sample of this study comes from children in Chile who were attending early childhood settings. The presenters focus on children's composing skills, how they generate ideas and their transcription skills and how they capture those ideas in marks on a page or letters and words.

Title: Integrating Diverse Women's Voices from the Past into the Psychology Curriculum

Description: The presenters discuss the importance of using dissertations authored by women of color in teaching cases for undergraduate and graduate psychology students. Three main focuses by Inez Beverly Prosser, Keturah Whitehurst and Tsuruko Haraguchi are used to demonstrate how women of color can be used to supplement existing curricula across a variety of domains within psychology.
