Amber Mason receives the Thomas A. Hutcheson Higher Education Award
Amber Mason is a graduate research assistant and project coordinator in the Urban Child Study Center. She is a fourth-year research, management and statistics doctoral student in the College of Education & Human Development’s Department of Educational Policy Studies. Mason’s research interests include mixed methods and culturally-responsive educational program evaluation and research. She serves as president of the Educational Policy Studies Graduate Student Association and in addition to her work within the university, Mason has more than 10 years of experience as an educator and program evaluator for Transformative Research and Evaluation. She is also an experienced educator, having taught high school mathematics for seven years in Chicago, IL. We congratulate Amber on this outstanding achievement.
