UCSC presents at the Georgia Speech-Language-Hearing Association Convention

One important goal of the Urban Child Study Center is to mentor and encourage students to take an active role in the research process. Bomi Kim Cheng, graduate student, and Dr. Lakeisha Johnson recently presented their work on the Relationship between executive functions and linguistic skills in African American children in urban and rural settings at the annual Georgia Speech-Language-Hearing Association convention. We congratulate Bomi on all of her hard work as she received the award for overall winner of the research poster competition.
