The Launch of Atlanta 323
What is Atlanta 323?
Atlanta 323 is a research-practice partnership between Atlanta Public Schools and Georgia State University to create an integrated, longitudinal P3 database for metro Atlanta. Funded by the Spencer Foundation, this partnership will focus on school readiness and achievement in children from age 3 to grade 3. Dr. Nicole Patton-Terry of Georgia State University will serve as the Principal Investigator for this initiative. Co-Principal Investigators include Dr. Kevin Fortner and Dr. Gary Bingham of Georgia State University and Janelle Clay of Atlanta Public Schools. On January 13, 2017, a launch meeting took place to give overviews of the grant, the goals and the planned activities of Atlanta 323.
