Rebecca Barria recognized for being a Outstanding Ph.D. student

Rebecca Barria, a graduate assistant in the Urban Child Study Center, was selected to receive the Outstanding Ph.D. Student Award (Language and Literacy Education) from the Department of Middle and Secondary Education at the College of Education & Human Development’s 2017 Honors Day Ceremony. This award is chosen by faculty and presented to a graduate student in the Rebecca Barria profile photolanguage and literacy education discipline based on academic achievement, teaching expertise, community service and a commitment to excellence. This year’s ceremony will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at 4 p.m. in the Speakers Auditorium, located in the Georgia State University Student Center East.
